Price vs. Decision

Nowadays, plenty of consumers are facing difficulties with the "Irrational Prices."  I believe that we cannot make any decision without knowing the price for a good or service. Personally if I want to buy clothes, for example, I need to know the price first  and then I will make my decision to make the purchase or not.

Pricing strategy is one of the most important things for marketing. For example, $9.99 is actually $10 bucks but it gives the consumer some hope that the price of the commodity is lower than $10 bucks when ,in fact, it’s short by only one cent.

Price vs. Decision- we must think deeply before making any decision that could affect our lives because it’s not just about the purchasing and the prices of goods. Working and making money doesn’t mean that you can spend it without caring about the time and energy that you spent. So, please think think think.... then make the decision that works best for you.

Online Shopping

Today I have decided to interview some of my good friends so I could get information from people that experienced the online shopping. I do believe that plenty in this generation are into "Online Shopping" because it's easy, cheaper and less time consuming.

The first person I  talked to was in love with online purchasing. According to him "Online shopping is much easier than going to the store because of the following reasons:

1- Many different options 

2- Convenient

3-  Les time consuming

4- Easy to get sizes

5- You can visit many different brands"

In this website you will be able to find many different brands for all ages and genders. 

The second person said "Sometimes I do like online shopping and sometimes  I don't like it because of specification issues like size of the shirts, colors and outfits"

She prefers online shopping sometimes because it is:

1-Cheaper than in store

2-Less time consuming

3-Less effort is involved 

The last person was not into online shopping at all. He said he prefers going to the mall and buying whatever he wants. He  also likes to try anything before making any purchases.

Since I live in Montana and there are not many choices, I do a lot of shopping online and what I like about it is when you get anything and you don't like it you can easily return it. All you need to do is drop off with FedEx, for example, to mail it to the company that did the delivering. 

In my view, I believe shopping online is much easier and I found great reasons for you guys =)

Consumers in Saudi Arabia 

1) LifeStyle:

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, plenty of people care about having the most modern  things more than quality. For example, if they want to go to a coffee shop, they prefer the design  rather than the taste of food or drinks that the coffee shop provides. There are many local coffee shops and most of them are fancy and expensive. There are actually of consumers that don't care about anything like the taste, but I am not one of them. I won't pay 35.00 Saudi riyals, which is $10.00, just to have a tasteless cup of coffee while I sit in a modern design. In the near future, the new generation will realize that spending money just for enjoying the stay is not worth it at all.

2) Shopping in malls:

Malls are the busiest places in Saudi because they include clothing stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and some of them have supermarkets. There are many fancy malls in the city of Riyadh which is the capital of Saudi Arabia. Al-Faisaliah is one of the biggest hotels in the capital and there is a shopping mall in its lower five floors . What  I want to explain is that this generation just cares about the environment of the malls or restaurants, and it is good to chill in a fancy, fresh environment but, at the same time, being careless about spending a lot of money and time will make it hard for them to build their future.

At the end of the day, going to places that have a lavish environment is great but being wasteful is not good at all, and we must open our eyes widely and watch the investors that who are playing around with prices and the quality of goods.

Consumers in my perspective!!

In my experience all consumers think deeply before they buy any goods or services, and since they are  spending money and time they want the best quality. When you need or want anything, you work very hard to get it. From my perspective, there are two types of consumers. The first one looks for reviews from other customers and also reads about what he/she wants to get.

 The second type buys things without even looking for details about the goods they are going to buy. On one hand, the first type of consumer is more informed than the second type because he/she requires reviews about the product. On the other hand, the second type doesn't bother with reviews.

 I  have a very smart family that takes forever to think about getting anything that they need and I'm sure that's a great thing because they are using their money to live in an environment they are satisfied with. I consider myself one of the first type of consumers, because I love to search by myself or ask friends who have tried the product. If they had a great experiences with it,  I  feel great about getting it. 

A little advice for all of my good friends " PLZ be careful when you are doing  online shopping because  the real item looks way different than images."
