Consumers in my perspective!!
In my experience all consumers think deeply before they buy any goods or services, and since they are spending money and time they want the best quality. When you need or want anything, you work very hard to get it. From my perspective, there are two types of consumers. The first one looks for reviews from other customers and also reads about what he/she wants to get.
The second type buys things without even looking for details about the goods they are going to buy. On one hand, the first type of consumer is more informed than the second type because he/she requires reviews about the product. On the other hand, the second type doesn't bother with reviews.
I have a very smart family that takes forever to think about getting anything that they need and I'm sure that's a great thing because they are using their money to live in an environment they are satisfied with. I consider myself one of the first type of consumers, because I love to search by myself or ask friends who have tried the product. If they had a great experiences with it, I feel great about getting it.

A little advice for all of my good friends " PLZ be careful when you are doing online shopping because the real item looks way different than images."
Here is a simple definition for Consumer Behavior.

Interesting commentary on the psychological and sociocultural influences on consumer behavior. My behavior is similar to yours, I often research products before purchasing. But for some products, like shampoo for example, I seek the advice of my hairdresser or mom instead of researching myself. So far, my methodology has left me satisfied with most purchases.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading more posts from you!
I agree with you Meagan, we don't have to do research about all of our products like the simple things that we need or want.
