Wedding in Saudi Arabia
When I was back home in Saudi Arabia, I used to watch a lot of Hollywood movies that gave me ideas about the life style in the United States. However, I strongly believe that movies or any other type of media don’t really represent a culture or life style. While I was watching the movies, weddings in America were always one of the things that got my attention.This is due to the huge difference to how weddings are back home. In Saudi Arabia, planning for a wedding is probably one of the biggest challenges that face any couple.
It consumes a lot of time, effort and money. A lot of people push their wedding date back because they just can not afford it. On the other hand, most of the weddings here in America are so simple. I like how family and friends do everything by themselves, how they make it simple and reasonable. I strongly support this because a couple should spend more money on their future than on making a luxury wedding.
