Marketing and Sports
Nowadays, we see advertisements all the time, but marketers choose the most active times on TV or in the streets, especially during football or soccer seasons because there are plenty of people watching or attending games. Furthermore, sports has no specific gender or age and everyone tends to be a fan of their own sport. The thing that grabbed my attention last year was the TV advertisements during the "Super Bowl" here in the United States.

The high price for only a one second ad during the Super Bowl amazed me. See the digram and how the cost is getting higher and higher.

When I first start studying business marketing I did not even think about the sport seasons. Now it plays a big role in the market and the best thing about it is, it is targeting all ages and genders. At the same time, all marketers need to understand their consumers. If they created the best ad for a product that no one would care about, they are not going to achieve what they're looking for.
So, all marketers need to work smarter not harder. It takes time to persuade consumers. While I was reading about this topic, I found out that there is a special time for doing marketing and it's different in social media, newspaper and TV. If I wanted to talk about this it would take me forever but I did find an amazing article that describes everything about the "perfect time."

Just remember that marketing is everything and we are not going to live without it. We cannot live without it because we will not be able to know about new services or products, right? Right.

The most important thing that we need to understand as marketers is that marketing is a culture, and we have to respect all of our consumers so they feel safe while watching us on the market. In the end, when you are watching any type of advertisement try your best to get the main idea that the brand or the company is delivering to the market.
